MARIE-CHRISTINE and CLAUDE PUYOL : WINEMAKERS

Marie-Christine and Claude Puyol met very young. The father of Claude already made some wine on the lands of Beaurang (near of saint Emilion's village) while Marie-Christine's father was Cellar master in prestigious Château Fourney.

These two young people liked the wine.
What of more natural then for a son of wine grower and a girl of cellar master than to build a life for two? Their most beautiful success were first of all two beautiful children then the recognition of their work on the family property. This property was bought in 1949 by Joseph and Marie the grandparents of Claude, becomes in 1983 "their" Château Beaurang.

The experiments and the knowledge of Marie-Christine and Claude are the ones of the soil and the well done work. They are real craftsmen of the vine and the wine. They live at the rythm of the seasons and as says Marie-Christine: " in reality, the boss of Beaurang, it is the vine and the weather! ". More than eighty percent of the works of the vineyard are hand-made and Claude to specify " my wife and myself wanted to make something together, we always had the love of the nature and the wine and we simply met in the heart of the raws of vineyard of Château Beaurang ".

If was needed one, Delphine Puyol is the proof that a desire can become reality. From part her recent implication within the property, it immortalizes what makes the
Peculiarity and the strength of vineyards Puyol: the transmission of a passion of generation in generation! Her first steps were made in the middle of vines...

She tasted the flavours of the grapes of Saint-Emilion in her earliest childhood...

That's why the importance of the story, the soil and the fruit in the elaboration of wines of Château Beaurang, guides her work of promotion and communication for the family estate.

STEPHANE PAUL

t has been now thirteen years since Stéphane works at château Beaurang! All four with Marie Christine, Delphine and Claude, are searching the best!
Stéphane, with his rich and multiple experiences with various professionals, acquired the open-mindedness of the people which " are not formated "! Stéphane gets involved to the everyday life in the estae and his close partnership with Claude makes that Château Beaurang also carries his "touch".

MARC QUERTINIER : ŒNOLOGIST COUNCIL

Marc Quertinier is for several  years oenologist council at Château Beaurang. Thanks to his approach of the vineyard, he brings its advices on the choice of vines and their adaptation to the ground. Marc Quertinier and Claude Puyol conjugate together for Château Beaurang, vine growing, oenology and love of Wine. Marc accompanies Claude and Marie-Cristine in the research for the authenticity and for the proper personality of their wine.

The work at Château Beaurang is made in team and the requirement of Marc is also in the wine you will drink.
